Summer rolls on and so does the studying. Language continues to take up most of my time but I do get a 3 week break because of public diplomacy training. I am still studying language for one hour in the AM and on the weekends.
People often ask me what I will be doing in Cambodia. My title will be cultural affairs officer which means I will be administering small compents of wonderful programs like the Fulbright.
These programs fall under the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs or ECA.
Getting closer to actually doing the job I joined the Foreign Service to do is really motivating. Until then, I will be studying!
